This site is for a game called Rust.
My biggest project so far.
This game gets an update every first thursday of the month. And I kept forgetting the date and time.
So I made a site for it.
Turns out.. A lot of people had the same issue.
I get a minumum 50.000 pageviews a month.
In the beginning I used the API of BattleMetrics but commercial use was not allowed. Therefore I made my own. It calls 2.000.000 queries a day to collect data. Then processes the data with an Algorithm
2022 - Ongoing

This client wanted a website to show their photography.
We decided on a minimalistic design.
The website is made with CodeIgniter and is hosted on AWS.
This is because she wanted 500G of storage, there was no provider that had this. So I had set up a custom hosting for her.
She is very happy with the result.

Now she can upload her photo's (Currently 7000+) and they get compressed to a lower resolution.
Then if she sends a code to someone. They can download the photo in full resolution.
This saved her a lot of time.

Ehbo Den Bosch
The municipality of Den Bosch required analytics for the amount of injured people at big events in the city (Mostly Carnaval).
They wanted to digitalize the injured forms so they could generate reports and overviews.
I made a website for them that does exactly that.

They can now manage the forms digitally, make reports. Asign first-aiders and link forms to events.
We are still improving the website.
2023 - Ongoing
Ropadienstverlening.nl
This is a website for my uncle.
He is a first-aider and wanted a website to show his services.
I made a simple but good looking website for him with a contact form and a gallery.

Now he can show his services and potentional clients can see his work.
It was a simple project, but still a good one.

About me
My name is Daan, I am 19 years old. And ever since a kid I enoyed working with computers. It made it easy to express my creativity.
I started with code in 2022. Made a simple game for a highschool project. I enjoyed that, then I followed the study Software Developer at KW1C

First code
First project I made was a game. It was a simple cookie clicker for a highschool project.
This was the moment I fell in love with programming.
I also made a different game in Unity, although I found it pretty difficult to learn C# at that time.
2022
KW1C
In 2022 I began my study for software development at KW1C.
Here we learned the basics of programming and web development.
I was always ahead of the class. Made some basic games with JavaScript and HTML, while we where only one week into the Javascript course.
In 2023 I started my first internship at Tabify. Me and a friend were the first software developers at this company. Later I bacame the lead developer.
I learned a lot about working in a team and how to work with clients.
2024
School & Tabify
Continued working at Tabify as a lead developer.
At the end of the year I decided to quit and widen my horizon.
2025
React & Self
In previous years I worked with the PHP framework CodeIgniter, but then I started exploring the world of React. And I fell in love.
I started learning React and Typescript with NextJs.
Also I began doing more work for my own clients. Made some websites and web applications.
